Meet Willie (fka Rascal)
Hi there! I'm Rascal, but my nickname is Willie. You guessed it, I only have one eye, but don't worry-it does not slow me down one bit!!! The vets think it was a birth defect so I have been this way my whole life.
I am about 3-4 years old, a thin 50 pounds, probably a lab/shepherd mix of sorts, and I am just about the happiest guy on earth! I love other dogs, humans and even did great on my cat test. I had a pretty lame family first go around. They left me at the shelter even though I was up to be euthanized and they did not bother to protect from mosquitoes so now I have heartworms. But on the bright side the great shelter I ended up in reached out to some folks trying to save me and Scout's Honor agreed to help me out. YAY!! And they are helping me fight the heartworms and will cover that until I am all clear!
