Because William arrived as a transfer from another shelter. We do not have any information on his previous interactions with kids, cats or dogs. William is a "tri-pod" after his front left leg was amputated due to a severe injury.

William arrived at a rural shelter with a terrible injury to his front left leg. Fortunately they were able to give him the medical attention he needed. Although he lost his leg it didn't dampen his spirit! William is a friendly guy who gets around like a champ. He loves to walk and run and sniff. He loves food and he loves meeting new people.

At this time, our dog kennels are open for general visitation without a prior appointment. We will, however, be limiting the number of persons in the kennel area at one time, and we appreciate your patience.
