Meet Wicket
Meet Wicket, she is a two-year-old terrier mix that spent most of her life in the streets. She became a Misfit when she came through the shelter in a malnourished state and extremely sick. She has done well accommodating to being a spoiled house dog. She loves to chase squirrels and bugs, and is a happy go-lucky girl. She does well with other dogs (foster home has 4 additional dogs). Due to her past, she will do best in a home with no kids and has not been cat tested.
Wicket is potty trained, kennel trained. She loves toys and you can tell she loves calling her kennel her home. Her favorite time of the day is breakfast and dinner time. And she loves to go outside and enjoy the sunshine. She is blind on her right eye and sometimes because of that barks a lot in the dark when she cannot see things well or may bark if she is startled. She is learning to trust humans and is learning how to snuggle. Leashes are not her jam, so it will take some work to get her used to walking on a leash, but she’s a smart girl and will learn fast. She will take some time to adjust to a new home, but once she does, she will love you unconditionally.
