Meet Westlin
Half his life.
Westlin has spent 50% of his 3 years at the shelter. Despite having no negative history, being a strikingly pretty dog with his amber eyes and beautiful red on white coloring, a cute curly tail and bouncy ears, he is often overlooked by adopters. The reason is an understandable one, but a problem for dogs who only get a few minutes to make a first impression and connect.
Westlin is simply reserved - that’s his big flaw. That’s it. He needs time to trust, to learn he can rely on you, and that you are a safe human.
But…… he LOVES to run with you to play - he wants to run with you more than toy we’ve discovered yet and share in fun together. And once Westlin starts to open up it’s like he comes alive. His eyes engage, he approaches people willingly, and you can see the dog he can be in a loving supportive home. (He would do well with a female dog with the same calm demeanor as him.
