Wally Chihuahua & Spaniel Mix Atlanta, GA

Wally is a 1-2 year old, 11 lb cutie. He is initially shy/nervous with new people but does warm up fairly quickly. We aren't sure what his past was like, but it's possible he wasn't treated nicely by people previously. Once you have earned his trust, Wally enjoys attention and likes to be close to you. He is playful with his foster mom and the other dogs in the house.

Wally does very well with cats and does well with other dogs. It takes him about a day or so before he's totally comfortable with new dogs, but he absolutely LOVES to play with them.

Wally sleeps in bed with his foster mom and has been doing well with house-training there.

Wally's ideal home is one without a lot of traffic in and out of the house (ie not a match for someone who has a lot of visitors). He needs someone who is patient and willing to give him time to come around. He is a very loving, sweet boy if you're willing to give him a chance. He needs an adult only home.

His adoption fee is $250, which includes his shots up-to-date, microchipping, neuter, and heartworm testing. Wally is heartworm positive but is being treated with the Moxi-Doxy protocol (advantage multi and doxycycline). He will go home with this treatment.
