Meet Wall-E

Hello, my name is Wall-e and I'm 4 months old. I'm spayed. I'm working very hard on potty training but I still have accidents indoors. I'm an Australian Shepherd Terrier mix but my personality and coat are more shepherd. I love having my humans close to me and will get scared if left alone. I don't like my kennel and prefer to sleep with my humans. I love following my foster mom all around the house. My foster mom says I'm just trying to be helpful with household chores. Who else will keep her feet warm when she is cooking? My foster mom says I'm brilliant and I love making her happy. I'm very food-orientated and will try and do commands to earn my treats.

Wall-e will had Parvo and recovered beautifully. However she will shed the virus through her fur for up to six months from 2/28/2024. She can not be around any unvaccinated puppies. Fully Vaccinated adult dogs are not large concern, she should not go into public settings until her full 6 months has passes.

Adoption Fee: $550 (no checks)

Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home. Sometimes there is more that comes out about a dog's personality once they have been able to settle in a home & truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption; discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, & 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.

Last Hope, Inc. is an all volunteer, foster based, no kill rescue! You can see almost all of our dogs on the first and third Saturday of each month from 11 am - 2 pm at the PetCo in Apple Valley, Mn.

Policies: You do not have to have a fence to adopt a dog from us, but some dogs will require a fence or acres to play, or an active family who will make sure the dog gets the exercise it needs to be happy. Some dogs do not have the temperament that will do well with young children.

The Adoption Fee is not enough to cover the vet bills. Sales tax of almost 7.25% is also included in the adoption fee that you see. Please consider donating to Last Hope to help us save these animals!
