Vivian Labrador Retriever Mix Argyle, NY

Vivian is a 7 month old spayed female Lab mix. She is a friendly and super sweet, affectionate dog once she warms up to you, but she's a bit underconfident in new environments. From her foster - “Vivian is super smart! Already house and crate trained. Sits and waits to be let in and out like a good girl. She will let you know when she has to go out. Has already mastered sit and is quickly learning more commands. She's treat motivated and will be easily trainable. Good at picking up new tricks. No resource guarding.” Vivian is working hard to build confidence. She did well meeting people at the Lucky Puppy Open House, especially if they had treats! She is very cuddly with women and appreciates a little time to warm to men, but is already sitting on her foster dad’s lap and giving him kisses after just a few days! Vivian loves other dogs and plays very well with her toys and her canine foster brother. She enjoys taking walks and has very good leash manners. We recommend no kids at this time as she is nervous and easily startled. She’ll need an owner who will work with her on her confidence and being her cheerleader to get used to the world around her. Vivian will make a very loyal and wonderful companion. She is ready for her furever home. Is it with you? Want to Adopt? 1) Fill out an application on theluckypuppy.org The adoption fees for puppies up to 12 months are a minimum donation of $600, (dogs too young to be fixed will have an extra $200 deposit, refundable pending your spay/neuter agreement), 1 year and up are a minimum donation of $500, 7+ years or special needs are a minimum $400 donation 2) Once your application is in, our adoption coordinator will contact you and complete a vet check and home visit (possibly electronic). 3) Once approved, please schedule a meet and greet to see the dogs. Meet and greets are by appointment only for approved adopters.

This pup is available in NY through the Go North Program of The Lucky Puppy Rescue, rescue based in Bonifay and Panama City, FL and adoption center in Argyle NY (NY Lic #1054). The minimum donation $600 adoption fee includes transportation from FL to NY, spay/neuter surgery or spay/neuter agreement (if too young), up to date with: age appropriate vaccinations, de-worming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention (if old enough) and martingale safety collar.
