Meet Violet - she is a Blue Lacy (see what that is below) - 7 months old.
She currently weighs 23lbs and will likely not exceed 40lbs when full grown.

The Blue Lacy is a medium-sized working dog breed hailing from Texas. It's known for its typical blue-toned coat, smooth, sleek appearance, and intense bright yellow or rich brown eyes. The Lacy is a bold, intelligent, and active breed that was originally developed to work feral hogs.

Violet is stunning!!! She is sleek, shiny, beautiful, bouncy, housetrained, excellent with other dogs - we can't say enough about her!!

Violet was found near Mt. Airy Forest where she had likely been abandoned. She was put on stray hold - but no one every came looking for this sweet girl.

She has since been full vetted and is looking for her fur-ever.

A Blue Lacy (which we are assuming she is) has similar traits to a American Staffordshire Terrier - but tend to be slimmer, lankier and have a longer snout.

Violet would be best in a home with kiddos who are not very young - because she is extremely energetic, she may knock the little ones down.

Her coat is so beautiful - in the sunlight she appears to be almost lilac in color - hence the name Violet.
