Villanova Shih Tzu & Yorkshire Terrier Mix Auburn, NE

Villanova and her three siblings were turned in to Animal Control, who called the local pound to announce that they had to “get out.” Each sibling was in worse shape than the first. They were matted, filthy, scared and clearly quite neglected. Little Nova, who we believe is a Yorkie/Shih Tzu mix, is still rather skittish but we think she’s pretty smart and may be playing some games with us. She does not want to be picked up and makes us work for it but once she is being held she settles in. She is independent, well-mannered and quiet. We always appreciate a pup who barks when necessary and doesn’t when not. She does well using potty pads or doing her business outdoors which is lovely. Villanova likes to spend time with the other little dogs, and she loves being around humans as long as she is allowed to make the first move. A nice, quiet home with people who are around often would be perfect for Nova, and she certainly would not mind having a canine sibling to help with her confidence. Also, SHE IS ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE.
