Vanna Poodle Mix Parkville, MO

Meet Vanna! She's a sweet and energetic poodle mix (possibly lab or sheepdog mix) with an approximate DOB of May 2021. She gets along well with other large dogs (male and female). She plays rough with small dogs, so she should only be in a home with larger dogs. Due to her energy level we are requiring a home with another young, active dog. She tends to be very mouthy and rambunctious with people, so we feel she'd be best suited to a home with teens and adults. Vanna is doing well with her house training, but she is still working on her manners (i.e. counter surfing, jumping on people). We do suggest crating when unattended as she is known for finding trouble when left alone. She is working on her leash skills and does best with lure training or a head collar. She is very smart and will be trained easily with positive reinforcement and lure training. We had to shave Vanna down as she was quite matted, so the "naked" pictures are the way she looks right now. She is getting used to combing so her coat can be maintained longer if desired. Doodle/poodle experience required. One of the references provided on your application must be a professional groomer
