VALOR IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION
He is a 5 year old Dogo Argentina. His Foster Dad Sean says: Valor loves to ride in the car and takes up the entire back seat, he is very social with humans, he walks well with a halti and needs to be walked with 2 leashes because of his strength. He can be reactive and selective with SOME dogs. He weighs in at 140 lbs.
Valor has been assessed by 2 dog trainers. His former owner said he was trained to be a service dog however Service Dog Trainer Danielle of Genesis Service Dog Training says: Valor needs to be adopted by a very confident dog savvy person as an only dog. He is not service dog trained.
He is very responsive to redirection and commands.
He is receptive to direction if you say his name first.
He will follow direction if he knows what you want.
Easily redirected with food.
No dog parks or doggie daycare for Valor. He is reactive to some dogs.
Dog Trainer Lou owner of Good Citizen says: He's a good dog very smart and seems to know his basic commands. He will need to be adopted by an experienced handler just based on size and strength.
