Meet Tyson

Tyson is a super handsome and super clingy 2 year old German Shepherd. He was surrendered to the shelter when he wasn't doing well in a home with children and began nipping/nibbling because he wanted to play! Tyson can be slow to warm up to new people but once he bonds, he won't leave your side! He is playful, goofy, and of course- a smart guy. He can be anxious in new situations but is always ready to "follow the leader" and he will thrive with a confident, GSD experienced owner. In his previous home, Tyson lived with 2 children but was a bit too pushy when he wanted to play and would get nippy. Structure, boundaries, and a daily exercise routine will be important to set him up for success! He has played with dogs before, but since being in the shelter he has become reactive to other dogs and sometimes people. On a slip lead, Tyson takes corrections very well and is easily redirected with little work. It is important that his new family can continue this training.
