Tucker Maltipoo Mix Rockville, MD

We just welcomed Tucker, an 11 years old, neutered male, poodle mix, well groomed and very friendly. We got him to the cardiologist where he received an echocardiogram that let us know he had severe hypertension and severe chronic degenerative valvular disease. Simply put, he doesn’t have the years we hoped to give him with a furever family. But he does have quality time with his meds!
The good news, Tucker is HAPPY. He has been enjoying every moment of his time with us so far, and he responded to his new medications within hours. He sounds better, and we are praying we can give him the BEST time with all his favorite food delights, cozy beds and all the love he could ever dream of. He will be on cardiology meds for the rest of his time here with us. He is a happy boy and not in any pain at this point, eating well and friendly. Mr Tucker is still looking for a furever home with some special folks who are able to keep up with his heart medication and try to give him the best life ever with the time he has left. Tucker has heart disease and came to us with it completely unmanaged but he is doing amazing in his foster home. Most importantly, he is a happy boy.
