TUCKER is a male Terrier mix around a year old and 45 lbs. He and his mother came from a cruelty case in Tennessee. They both were relinquished. Tucker is the sweetest boy you will meet. He is a big, goofy, clumsy and a gentle giant who loves to play and cuddle up in bed. Tucker loves people, and is good with kids, but can get a little overwhelmed. Tucker can be easily scared by men in his home at night but this is an obstacle we are tirelessly working to overcome. Tucker doesn't show much interest in other dogs at first, but once introduced, shows his affection with a little nibble. He has no issues sharing space, food, or chew toys. Tucker likes to take walks and explore the outdoors, but squirrels beware. Tucker is a big strong boy, so we are currently working on his leash manners. Tucker is a good boy in the car but he will do everything in his power to get into the front seat and on your lap. We are currently working on Tucker’s car manners with the assistance of a doggie seatbelt. When not outside, Tucker likes to look out the window and will do just about anything to look out every window he can find, no matter the height. Tucker loves to play with his people and toys; balls and tough chew sticks are his favorite. Tucker is a handsome boy and he knows it; he likes to admire his reflection in mirrors and tv screens. Overall, Tucker is just a big baby who has had a difficult past and is looking for a forever family to give him the love and care that he deserves.

We are presently not holding our regular Saturday adoption clinics due to the Covid-19 virus. We are operating on a limited basis until further notice, but we are still adopting dogs out. We require an approved application before we consider anyone for an adoption - so filling out the application is your first step. Different dogs and puppies go up for adoption EVERY WEEK so please feel free to visit the site and click on the Petfinder link for updates. Puppies and dogs up to 2 years old are $350. Dogs over 2 years old are $250. 100% of the adoption fees go to help us save more dogs.
