Trina Schnauzer Homer Glen, IL

Trina (aka Bella) is looking for a great fur-ever home! She is a 20 pound, female miniature schnauzer with a youthful spirit born on 1/15/19. Her foster family has found her to learn and adapt fairly quickly to new situations. Within the first few days in her foster home, Trina mastered a short staircase, picked her favorite dog bed, explored the backyard, enjoyed trying various dog treats, and started playing with toys. She is very sweet, energetic and loves following humans around the house and sleeping in the human bed. She also gets along very well with the resident dogs and enjoys cuddling and taking naps with them on the couch.

Trina was given up by a breeder who was downsizing because of the economy and is still learning to be in a home. She has done well with free roaming in her foster home and alternates between taking naps and playing with toys while her foster mom is working from home. She is working on potty training and usually does her business outside when taken out regularly. She can be vocal when excited or nervous but is quickly learning to calm down. She is spayed, up to date on shots, micro-chipped, and heart-worm & fecal tested negative.
