Trigger Beagle & Chiweenie Mix Sarasota, FL

Trigger was the sweet boy who was scheduled on the 3pm euthanasia list in a high kill shelter.  We have his freedom picture when he left the shelter with his friend Snoopy.  Because Rescued Hearts Sarasota cared enough, we saved them before euthanasia.  All of us rescues are full, and we are doing the very best that we can to save lives of precious animals who deserve to live and thrive.  At the time we saved Trigger and Snoopy, we really didn’t know their personalities.  Now that we know them, we are so thankful that our rescue said, “Yes” to their life.  Upon arrival, Trigger’s foster mom noticed he was not able to urinate.  She immediately took Trigger to our wonderful rescue vet and learned Trigger had a serious blockage from bladder stones.  Emergency surgery was performed and Trigger has been recovering in a quiet foster home post-surgery.  Trigger’s foster mom sent a text saying, “Trigger is a real sweetheart.  Very friendly to people while on walks.  Low energy dog who loves to take walks.  No accidents in house if taken outside to potty every four hours during the day.  Trigger sleeps in a dog bed next to his foster mom’s bed.  Is quiet, non-barker and just wants to be close to his foster mom at all times”.  Because Trigger had bladder stone surgery, he will require prescription food to avoid reoccurrence of stones.  Please, consider this perfect little guy.  We saved his life, but you can make his life whole with a loving home.
