Topanga is a 3.5 year old spayed female Black Cur mix. She is friendly with people and good with other dogs. She walks well on a leash and uses the doggie door for house training.

Topanga is heartworm positive. But! don't worry, heartworms are NOT contagious. At the rescue, they use a safe, slow treatment method as directed by our supervising veterinarian. Heartgard preventative stops any new worms from growing. After 6-18 months she will be heartworm free. She may even be now!

The minimum donation $350 adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, up to date with: age appropriate vaccinations, de-worming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention (if old enough) and martingale safety collar.
