Tommy embodies the term "Velcro dog," always preferring to be by your side whether you're cooking, watching TV, gardening, or strolling. He's diligently working on perfecting his house manners, alerting when he needs to go outside. While he generally gets along with cats, his reaction depends on the individual feline. His foster home has two senior cats, one blind and one deaf; he is getting along with them fine but they are dog friendly kitties. Tommy possesses a natural dachshund prey instinct, making him curious about anything that moves or reacts. He's sociable with other dog-friendly canines and enjoys playful interactions.
