This handsome boy is Tommy!

Tommy is an approximately 9-month old male Labrador/Shepherd mix and will weigh around 50-60 lbs. as an adult (best guess).

Tommy was found abandoned by his family when they moved out of their house and left him behind. We don't know why anyone would leave this precious boy behind because he's an absolute lovebug! He hasn't let his unfortunate situation change his love for humans! He showers his foster mom and dad with kisses and snuggles all day long. He wants to be by your side and cuddle with you wherever you may be.

He is SUPER sweet and loves to give kisses and hang out with you on the couch. He is very playful and has been playing with his three foster dog siblings nonstop since he arrived. He can run and roughhouse like a puppy, but he also can settle down and chew a toy and chill. He will need a 6-foot stockade fence because he did some high jumps while playing and boy can he jump.

Tommy is a very smart boy. With only one day of training he learned sit, come, and how to use the dog door at his foster home. Because of Tommy's energy and ability to jump, a home without small kids/toddlers would be best.

He would love another dog in the home to help him learn how to adjust quickly, and to play with. He has lots of puppy energy and would enjoy daily walks and play sessions.

He is crate trained and will stay in his crate during the day without accidents. He will need continued help with housetraining in his new home, because he is a little nervous when he first comes to live with you. If taken to a basic obedience class he would quickly learn even more commands and manners because he is a very smart boy and catches on quickly. With time, patience, and lots of love he will no doubt be an AMAZING family companion.

Tommy is neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $200.
