Toffee Dachshund Omaha, NE

Toffee is a 6 year old girl that was rescued from a breeder mill just a few days ago with over 300 dogs in it. She is scared and afraid of most everything currently. She will come out of her shell slowly, but will be such a great dog once she's able to relax and let her guard down. Let us know if you are thinking she might be a good fit for your home when she is ready.

All of our dogs are current on vaccinations which include Rabies and Distemper/Parvo, they are spayed and or neutered, have been fecal tested and heartworm tested, and had a dental cleaning if necessary. They are all on heartworm and flea/tick preventative as needed in rescue. They all are adopted out with a microchip that is registered in the adopters name and is good for a lifetime with no additional fees.

The adoption process is an application, a vet reference, a home inspection, and a lifetime contract. The requested adoption donation for all of our dogs is $300.

We do not REQUIRE a fenced in yard (some dogs do not require a fence, as long as they can walk well on harness and leash. This is decided by what is best for each dog individually.)

We are willing to adopt out-of-state applicants but you must travel to the foster home location of your dog which is generally in Omaha or within a 90 minute drive from the Omaha area to meet and travel home with your dog. We do not transport or ship dogs.
