Toby's story is a poignant reminder of the resilience and forgiving nature of dogs. His life began under the shadow of human cruelty when he and his sister Aida were subjected to a terrifying ordeal, held outside of a moving car and later abandoned in a remote desert. This cruel act, captured on video and shared publicly, led to a desperate search to locate Toby and his siblings. Against all odds, Toby and four other puppies were rescued from their dire situation. While his siblings have found their forever homes, Toby's search continues. After a period of fostering, where he was lovingly cared for but could not follow his family overseas, Toby now looks to us to find his permanent home.
About Toby:
Toby is a young, playful soul who often forgets his size, thinking he's still a small pup. His playful nature and love for interaction make him a delightful companion. He's well-trained, understands basic commands, and is excellent on a leash. Toby's enthusiasm is boundless, and he sometimes jumps out of excitement, making him more suitable for families with older children, though he has been around children as young as 5 years old.
Personality:
Toby's heart is as big as his playful spirit. He loves engaging with adults, children, and other dogs, showing a remarkable ability to trust and love despite his past. His affectionate nature and eagerness to please make him a joy to be around.
Ideal Home:
