Toby, and sister Ruby, were surrendered together.

With a guesstimated birthday in June 2023, Toby weighed 57 lb at his most recent vet visit in March 2024.

Toby likes to ride in cars but will need additional work to load up eagerly. He's leash-savvy, will pull to get to exciting things. Comfy in a 42" crate, he keeps his space clean overnight.

Toby is working on house-training. He loves to be outside, helping with the gardening or seeing to whatever you want to do.

Toby has shown some reactivity to strangers so he needs to go into a home with someone who has previous dog experience or will invest the time he may need with a trainer.

Whether dogs / puppies come in as strays or owner surrenders, we make our best guess as to birthdate and breed.

Our adoption fee covers a standard canine vaccine, a rabies vaccine, and deworming if recommended by our vet. Adult dogs will also have current heartworm test. For puppies over the age of 14 weeks, our adoption fee covers the first 3 puppy vaccines. If the puppy is still in our care at 16 weeks, we will also provide the rabies vaccine.

A vet reference and a refundable spay/neuter deposit is required for intact dogs/puppies.

Open Adoption Events for Bunch Anderson Shelter Dogs are held every Saturday from noon-3:30 p.m. Please check our FB page for changes in Adoption Event Schedules or for featured Foster Dogs.

A scheduled Meet & Greet between Adoption Events may be possible by sending an e-mail to: info@foothillscaninerescue.org. We do not hold dogs. Fees are required in cash.
