Hello. I am Toby, a handsome and affectionate pup who will be your furever best friend!

Now, even though I am the world’s most handsome little boy, my life has not always been easy. Because of this, I am a bit shy and may be easily scared until I get to know you. The perfect home that I have been envisioning would be a calm, quiet house with a patient adult who can help support me build my confidence, and with someone who wants the perfect snuggle buddy!

I would describe myself as a low-key boy. I have been offered to play with toys, even some with food, and to go on walks, but those activities just really do not interest me because I’d rather be cuddling with you! I am currently working on some basic training and skills that I would greatly appreciate you continuing to work on with me. I am still potty training and learning how to walk properly on a leash. When I am left alone, I prefer a bigger space such as a bathroom or laundry room, that I can feel comfortable and secure in. I will make a few little noises as I am sad to part with you, but I will quickly calm down and rest so that when you return you can have the largest welcome home from me!

I have not had the pleasure of meeting cat friends, so I am not sure how I’d do with them. I have met other pups and appreciate very slow introductions to new dog friends who will respect my space and boundaries…so maybe no puppies! I cannot wait to be loved in my forever home. I am shy and will require slow introductions to new people. Once you and I have been fully introduced I will be your best friend for life!
