Meet Toby
Toby is nervous around new people but with a little patience he will warm up quite quickly. (We have seen this with the volunteers and staff at the Refuge). He is particularly nervous and shy around children, which is probably an indication he had a negative experience. A household where humans are loving and caring towards animals will be an ideal home for Toby. We are hopeful for him to find the perfect human(s) where he can experience what a truly loving home can be.
This is what we know about Toby:
Rides well in cars
LOVES all kinds of toys and playing fetch
He's super-duper soft (can you say snuggle bug?!)
Likes belly rubs! (He'll con you into one with his adorable eyes!)
Knows his basic commands
Walks very well on a leash
A sweet boy around other dogs
He's housebroken (he's a member of the clean kennel club at the Refuge.)
