Foster insights/backstory: Tiny Tim is looking for his pack in a new forever home, somewhere he can really settle in and be a member of a family. The ‘tiny’ in Tiny Tim certainly does not apply to this boy’s heart! He has gained the nickname ‘Sweet Timmy’ because of what an absolute sweetheart he is. He is affectionate and loving, and loves to play! Tiny Tim does great during car rides, and has a very gentle demeanor - so gentle, that he does tend to fall more on the nervous side. Tiny Tim can tend to be skittish of noises, particularly the sound of leaves, plastic bags, and the garage doors. A house on the quieter side may be better for Tiny Tim, and would certainly make his adjustment easier.

Tiny Tim's foster has had him for the last 9 months and has noticed a huge improvement of his social skills and being open to others. Tiny Tim loves his peace and alone time, so this improvement was very evident. He enjoys spending time in his crate, and prefers for his crate to be in a place where he can see and smell his family easily. As long as Tiny Tim can get his walks everyday, he is content to just hangout and does not have destructive tendencies. He is really only vocal when people come to the door, but they are working on the “place” command, which has been helpful with this behaviour. Tiny Tim is making progress all the time, and it’s been noticed by both his foster and individuals he comes into contact with regularly. Tiny Tim also has dog friends he gets to visit with regularly. Although he would get along fine as an only dog in the home, living with another dog may provide him with the support to learn the ropes and building his confidence. He currently lives with another dog in his foster home and gets along well with him. It would also be helpful to continue his obedience training, currently consisting of place, sit, stay, down, no, and his recall skills. Tiny Tim is food motivated during his training sessions, which his new family will find helpful!
