Timon #bonded-to-Pumbaa German Shepherd Dog Houston, TX

Do you remember the meerkat Timon who was the buddy of wart-hog Pumbaa in Disney’s animated “Lion King?” Arf! Arf, everyone, I'm Timon, named because my “hakuna matata” (no worries) lifestyle also got me into trouble. That is, Pumbaa and I were found by a Good Samaritan as we wandered the mean streets of Houston together.
I'm a super-sweet, loyal, confident, courageous, and steady German Shepherd (perhaps purebred) fella who weighs 60 pounds and was born about October 2021. I'm young and very playful, so I'm perfect with all hoomans – including kids - as well as other dogs.
We German Shepherd dogs are renowned for our high intelligence, uncanny faithfulness, and noble character. Like a typical German Shepherd Dog, I'll want to bond with my new family by being right in the center of all their activities. We GSD's can be gentle family pets who easily learn commands. We can also be steadfast guardians who are willing to put our life on the line in defense of loved ones. No wonder we're truly a dog-lover's delight and rank at the front of canine royalty.
Although German Shepherd Dogs make great house dogs, we need regular daily exercise for our physical and mental well-being. I'm dreaming of playing Frisbee at the dog park or at least a vigorous walk with my new hoomans. Could that be with you? Timon is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, and microchipped. Heartbreakingly, he tested positive for heartworms and is undergoing treatment, and Miss Donna is covering the cost. His adoption fee is $250 (includes heartworm treatment) for dogs older than 9 months. An application must be filled out prior to adoption.
