Meet Tilly - pending adoption
Meet Miss Tilly- IN VERMONT!
Tilly is a 58 lb purebred golden retriever that will be celebrating her 3rd birthday in March. Tilly moved up from the south in December of 2021.
She has learned a lot since her big move, she LOVES the snow, outside adventure time. Tilly is still learning to trust people and is sweet natured but shy.
Tilly will need a home with a fenced in yard, someone who is home most of the day and most importantly someone who will take the time to earn her trust.
Tilly does have good recall but needs more work with leash training and basic commands.
Tilly enjoys quiet moments and soft cuddles making her a perfect addition to a calm and understanding home.
Tilly prefers not to be around a lot of new people and tends to curl up happily in a corner when new visitors come. She is great with other dogs but does get nervous in new situations such as going to the vets. She rides well in the car. She is a pretty laid back golden girl who loves to spend most of her day laying near her owner napping on her dog bed.
She would very happily join her new family up on the couch or on the bed if invited to do so! Tilly absolutely loves treats and loves to swim if she finds water you won't keep her out! Tilly would do best in a house without young children and with people that dont have unpredictable movements as she does get spooked easily.
Tilly needs a home that can provide :
* PHYSICALLY Fenced in yard
* Someone home more often than not
* Other dog(s)
*Patience- They are not girls people can walk right up to and pet when they first meet them.
*Children over 10 years
**Tilly will require more time to warm up.**
