Meet Tick
Hello my name is Tick! I am a 3 year old large mixed breed that came into SWCHS as a stray. I do take some time to get comfortable with new people and would need some patience, however once I trust somebody I am very sweet. I do have a bit of barrier reactivity to other dogs, however once I am on the same side of the fence have been fine. I have gotten along well with calmer male dogs one-on-one and do like to play (awkwardly) but a slow introduction with an easygoing dog is recommended. I really love going on walks and am pretty calm most of the time. I would do best in a home with children over 13 years old as I am protective over my food, but is manageable. Overall, I'm very good girl that has a lot of love to offer who'd love to find her new home!
