This handsome guy is Thor! While he’s got a tough guy name, this boy is full of sweetness and has the kindest puppy dog eyes.

Thor is very good with the other dogs in his foster home, and has been friendly with all other dogs he’s met too! He likes to play with other dogs, but is very respectful. He doesn’t play too rough, and recognizes if another dog doesn’t want to play and leaves them alone. We are unsure how he is with cats, but he doesn’t seem to have much of a prey drive.

Thor also loves meeting new people! He’s great at making friends, and would love if they gave him pets. Soon after meeting a new person you can be sure to see him start to lean into them, and before you know it he’s sitting in their lap!

His overall energy level is medium! He is really good on a leash and likes being outside. While he likes walks and playtime, he also really loves just lounging around. He will cuddle up on the dog bed next to his foster mom while she works, or lay on the couch. He’s overall pretty lazy, and an easy dog to have in the home. One of his favorite things is if he gets to lay in bed with you! He lays right near your feet and will help keep them warm! He is so cute all curled up while he sleeps.

Thor does sleep in his crate overnight in his foster home, but would probably love if his adopters let him sleep in bed with them. He also sleeps in his crate when no one is home to supervise him. He does bark in his crate here and there, but is getting better with the routine. For that reason we don’t think he’d be a great fit for an apartment or communal living area. Thor truly just loves being able to be by his people. When put in his crate he has no issue going right in though! Outside of the crate, Thor is actually very quiet and doesn’t bark at all. Really a chill dude, just happy to be chillin with his humans.

Thor is good with people of all ages, but we think he’d be good with older kids as he can jump up on people. He is working on getting better at that though and improving every day!

He is good with toys and doesn't destroy the stuffed ones, which is very impressive! He also likes to chew on bones! Thor actually just walks away when the other dogs take a toy from him, he is happy to share.

Thor really likes the bones that are filled with the cheese stuffing. He is also extremely sweet and will follow you around the house! His favorite thing is hands down just being able to be near his humans. He's always laying in the kitchen the whole time his foster family cooks or watching them to see what they’re up to. He’s going to make his future humans a really great companion dog!

Thor is a handsome fellow who will bring so much joy to his new family!!
