Attention puppy lovers! Let me introduce you to the Pup of Thunder - THOR!
Thor is an adorable little party animal with a great off switch! He loves every toy he sees and will entertain himself some.
He enjoys playing for sure, but his favorite activities involve eating and napping. He sure likes a comfy sofa!
He is gaining confidence and becoming more independent, but he can’t wait to snuggle.
If you appreciate a companion that can make you laugh or smile, Thor might be the fella for you! He is actually a bit addicting to be around.
He’s in that sweet spot where just kibble can be a training reward. At about 5 months of age, he has a good desire to learn and hang around you.
Potty trained and super sweet. Starts off shy, but may soon be the boss ?.
Great with dogs. Would likely do well as an only dog as well.
He walks nicely alone, but may start to pull if walking with another dog. Some training, and he will be a fantastic adventure buddy.
He knows “sit” well. He is catching on to “down” and he will “shake/paw” and occasionally even do “roll over.” We are working on “drop” and recall.
Thor does enjoy running around outside, so a fenced yard would be ideal.
Cats are unknown. I think he could be trained to live with them, but he does already have a health prey drive.
Supposedly about 43% husky, Thor may be a larger sized dog. He is only about 20+ lbs right now, give or take.
He does get car sick. He may grow out of this. Just a little patience and some breaks on a long drive. He does like to be comforted in the car.
He is crate trained, however like with any new pet, he will require patience to acclimate to his new environment. It took a few days before he could sleep through the night. He does still have some trouble being crated for a while and you are not around at times.
Thor is a fantastic puppy! I expect he would make a wonderful family pet as well. He is gentle with people and curious about the world. He’ll be your best buddy. Come check out this silly little PUP of Thunder.
