Meet pretty Miss Bambi!
Bambi is a young, spayed female Anatolian Shepherd Dog or mix. Her estimated DOB is roughly between July to Oct 2022. As you can see she is a tall, lanky girl with a super-model frame!
This sweet girl was found as a stray or, more likely, abandoned, as so many are these days. Fliers were posted, she was scanned for a chip (but didnt have one) and no one came looking for her. The person who found her was unable to keep her so she reached out to us before taking her to the shelter.
Bambi is being boarded now because we do not have any open fosters. She is in need of either a foster home, foster-to-adopt home or adoptive home.
She is healthy, spayed, fully vetted and is heartworm negative.
She is a sweet, silly, playful girl. She is friendly with people and has been good with the other dogs in the play yard at the kennel. Bambi would do well if paired with another young (male) dog who is medium to large sized so she would have a playmate.
She would also do well with an active family/owner who likes to take daily walks.
