Meet Tess! Tess is an adorable scruffy little 8 pound maltipoo mix that is about 5 months old. We don't think Tess will get much bigger than she is now but if she does it doesn't seem like it will be more than a few pounds. Tess has been doing really well in a crate but she has also had a sibling as a crate buddy any time she does need to go into the crate so she may need more work with crate training once in a new home. Tess will run out with the rest of her doggy friends to go potty but does still have some accidents in the house. Tess is a bit shy at first but after she opens up she has your typical fun loving puppy energy!

If there are multiple dogs that you are interested in, please fill out an application for each dog. This does not include bonded pairs, one application will be fine. We have different adoption coordinators working with different dogs, and your application may be missed if you only apply once.

We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Tess.
We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Tess the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us.

Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.

All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
