Meet Terry

Meet Terry! We are guessing he is a 4 1/2 year old American Staffordshire Terrier/Australian Cattle Dog mix who loves other dogs and needs a doggy sibling in his forever home. He is crate trained and house trained and loves to cuddle! This boy thinks he's a 50 lb lap dog! He loves to play with toys, even by himself and loves to chase his foster doggie siblings around the yard. He has a lot of energy, but also loves to lay around and chew on his Benebone. He is weary around men, so his future family needs to know that if there is a man in the home, it may take a while for him to warm up. Due to his breeds, no apartments please!

Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs.
