Terra is about 2 years old and roughly 39 pounds. She is a Golden Retriever mix. She seems a little bit on the smaller side for her breed but she might fill out as she gets older. She is recently spayed, microchipped and up to date on all vaccines. She is heartworm positive and has started treatment. The rescue will cover the treatment.

Terra comes to us from Alabama but you wouldn’t know it by the way she loves the snow. She loves taking walks and checking on all the smells. The first thing you notice about her is that she is a strikingly good looking dog but she really wins you over with her personality. A real cuddle type dog when she isn’t playing outdoors. Terra is low maintenance. She seems to like people and so far has done exceptionally well with children. The foster doesn’t rule out a two dog home but recommends a one dog home for her. She is not mean to other dogs but just gets nervous around them. She is housebroken and can do simple commands but her real talent is smothering you with kisses, when you least expect them. If you sit down to watch TV, it won’t be long before she tries to join you, in your lap. She barks rarely. Loves human contact and never turns down a belly rub.
