Tender Dutch Shepherd & German Shepherd Dog Mix Louisville, KY

Tender is a handsome 5 month old Dutch Shepherd x German Shepherd pup. Tender is part of a litter found abandoned in a laundry basket right Christmas and unfortunately we know nothing of his parents.

Tender is a sweet pup with lots of energy to spare. True to his breed and age Tender is always look for something to get into although he has some serious doubts about the things humans do - shopping carts? really? Despite his reservations with some of the hijinks the humans get into Tender is a social, gamey young guy. He is still figuring out what is expected of him when out and about and is really baffled why barking doesn't make new friends. Tender is looking for a family that will continue his socialization and appreciate his fierce protection from killer firetrucks.

Tender has been raised with other dogs and is great at navigating play groups. He loves to romp and run with the other young dogs but is good about respecting the space of the older dogs. He still isn't sure how to go about making new friends while out and about in new places but he is learning. Tender has been raised around cats and is pretty sure they are weird looking dogs. The cats do not return his affection but the do share their toys which he thinks is pretty nifty. He can be a bit rough with the cats at times and will need ongoing guidance to ensure he doesn't let his prey drive get the best of him.
