Teemo Hound & Labrador Retriever Mix Rochester, NY

Poor TEEMO is being returned to us after 2 years (adopted as a young puppy from us) because of a divorce in his family and he now has nowhere to go. He's a handsome, sweet houndy lab mix of some sort who has lived and done great with other dogs, cats, and younger kids, as well. He'll make someone a perfect pet!

He is very loving and playful but IS a little nervous around new people and will take a bit to get comfortable around new people. He'll just need a little patien and an adopter who won't force things. He becomes very bonded to his people, Teemo loves walks and being outside and is an incredibly sweet boy who loves to cuddle and wants attention. Once he is comfortable around someone, he will become their shadow and want lovies. He is playful and is great with kids. His previous owner has a 3 year old and Teemo was very gentle and loving to him. He enjoys tug of war and "fetch" (he's better at getting the ball than giving it back up sometimes! lol). Teemo has been crate trained just as of recently with the previous owner's changing situation while trying to find new housing, Teemo is 47 lbs and fully vetted.

Adoption fee covers: all vetting to age (including deworming, deflea etc ), spay/neuter and microchip after 6 months of age at our clinic, $60 rebate for completion of positive-based training classes, and lifetime support of rescue.

We do most application processing virtually and dog meets will be individually by appointment with ONLY APPROVED APPLICANTS. We are not a shelter and are completely foster-based, so there is no central place to come see all of the dogs available.

PLEASE NOTE: If a dog is listed as Adoptable, he or she is still available at that time. Also, our adoption area is within a several hour radius of us in Rochester, NY (NOT including Canada - sorry!)
