ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE EXPERIENCED DOG OWNERS; NO FIRST TIME OWNERS. PLEASE READ TEDDY'S PROFILE CAREFULLY.

Teddy is a 2-3 year old, 50-60 lb. pup that loves to cuddle on the couch and get full-on belly rubs. Because of his past, Teddy will need a patient owner who will advocate for him and who will work with him and a professional trainer to help him overcome his issues.

Teddy is leery of new people and things, and all introductions must be done slowly, with the owner mindful of Teddy’s actions and reactions. He also has resource guarding tendencies. He would not do well in a home with small children.

Teddy does well with other dogs in the home. He knows the commands: sit, down, come. He is crate trained and house broken.

We would like to have Teddy adopted around the Baltimore area. He will come up to date on his shots and microchipped. He is not yet neutered, but we will pay the costs associated with the procedure at a facility we approve or choose.
