Tazz Terrier Mix West Jefferson, OH

Meet Tazz! He might just learn to fly away with those big ole ears, but until then he is here waiting for his furever family to take him home. Tazz came to our shelter with his fur brother, Bailey, after his previous owner could no longer care for them. He is an adorable terrier mix, currently weighing around 44lbs, with an estimated date of birth of March of 2023.
The best way to describe Tazz is to say he is excited about life and everything it has to offer. He absolutely loves to meet new people and he had the chance to do that here with all the Staff and Volunteers that work with him daily. He is such a sweet dog that will take pets and love from anyone that has a spare moment to give it. How could you not with a face like that? He loves to go for lots of walks and runs around the shelter grounds. He does really enjoy buddy walks with his brother as well. He likes to follow him around and does whatever Bailey does learning his way through life!
Since coming to our shelter Tazz has done a wonderful job at keeping his kennel nice and tidy. We do believe he has been worked with on house training in his previous home.
Although we know how much Tazz loves his fur brother, Bailey, we have not introduced him to any of the other dogs here just yet. He is more on the submissive side with his brother and loves to follow him around. Tazz did wonderful when meeting both male and female dog friends here at the shelter! We do know that Tazz prefers a feline free zone, so no cats in the home for this boy.

Our adoption fees vary, Shelter Dogs are $180, Prison Dogs are $250, Puppies are $300, and Popular Pure-Breeds are $400. The price includes: a Home Again Microchip, set of shots, de-worming, heartworm testing (if old enough), spay or neuter, and a 1 year rabies shot (if old enough). All dogs adopted must leave with a county license at an additional cost of $17, this fee is cash only. Adoption fees can be done using credit card or cash.
