Tazz was rescued from an overcrowded shelter by our director when she visited our partner in New Mexico. He is very shy and appears to not understand what it is like to really be loved. Tazz is looking for a very patient person who can slowly show him what it is like to be loved and give him the unconditional love he deserves for the rest of his life.

Tazz is not a people-dog yet and still very much prefers the company of dogs. He still makes it very difficult to even approach, let alone touch him. Our director is working with him to show him that humans are not all bad and are actually a source of good things (like food!). Tazz needs an adopter who will understand his boundaries and need to go slow. If you are looking for a cuddle buddy, Tazz is not your guy (yet). If you are looking for a very rewarding experience in helping him become comfortable with humans, please apply!

ADOPTION FEE: $75

We are a foster-based rescue and do not generally have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays.
