Tater has been fantastic around kids at his foster's in home daycare, doesn't seem to mind the family gerbil, and gets along with the resident dogs (although mild food/bone aggression towards other dogs and should eat separately). Cat test at the shelter since showed some interest but wasn't overly interested - so not sure how he would do with cats in the home.

His backstory - He was found as a HW+ stray in a rural area of TN and taken to the shelter. His HW treatment was sponsored, and he was in foster through that treatment. He's now heartworm negative but the shelter couldn't take him back and put him up for adoption due to space. The foster could no longer continue keeping him - meaning he would have to go back to the shelter and be euthanized on intake. Local rescuers in that area reached out because the shelter was willing to transfer him to a rescue. So we took him in.
