Hi, my name is Tamarind! I’m a RED pawprint, which means I need an experienced home that meets some specific criteria. Here is what would work best for me in my new home:
-Personality: Rambunctious, intelligent
-Can Live with Kids: We are recommending older kids (16 years plus) who have experience with dogs
-Can Live with Cats: Unknown history but may do okay with a very confident cat. Would likely be too overwhelming for any senior or shy cats.
-Can Live with Dogs: Yes I would live well with a other active and playful dogs.
-Can do Apartment Living: Not recommended due to energy levels.
-Potty Trained: appears to be.
-Bite History: No
-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: Yes a 6 week puppy prep course will be required.
-Energy Level: High
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Yes a spay

-Additional Information: Tamarind is a young girl who is looking for a loving forever family that will be dedicated to continue her training. She is a bit frustrated being stuck in a kennel here at the shelter. Tamarind settles down quickly once she has something to do. Once she's had a nice long walk, treat puzzles have been a great way to help Tamarind settle and keep her mind occupied. She is required to be signed up for puppy prep classes, but further training would definitely be beneficial. She plays super well with other playful dogs in our playgroups.
