Tai Lung Mixed Breed Allegan, MI

This handsome guy would make a fantastic adventure buddy! He’s confident, outgoing, and active! At the shelter, his favorite activity is going for walks with our volunteers… especially if he can take his time and sniff every smell that catches his interest! He’s working on his leash manners, but is usually well-behaved until something catches his interest. Tai Lung must have been someone’s pet, because he knows how to “sit” and keeps a clean kennel.

Tai Lung could join a home that includes other dogs and/or kids. He gets along with most other dogs and would enjoy a playmate! If there is another dog in the home, we’ll schedule a meet and greet to ensure they’re a good match. We think he would fit well with kids 8 and older. During his cat assessment, he was VERY interested in the cat and tried to play with him. For him to potentially be successful in a home that includes cats, it would require a slow introduction, “dog-savvy” cats, and an experienced owner.

Tai Lung was brought into our care as a lost dog. Sadly, as with the majority of the dogs currently living at the shelter, no owner came forward to reclaim him. In our care, he’s been neutered and brought up to date on vaccinations/prevention. Our medical team estimates he’s just over 1 year old, so he’s just a baby!
