Meet Susie
Susie was treated for heartworm when we rescued her two years ago. She has now tested negative but has an enlarged heart from the severity of the heartworm.
She is currently on medication and will probably need medication for the rest of her life. She is currently on lasix which is very reasonably priced. Unfortunately due to her heart, the vet recommended not to fix her at this time. She is about 12 years old and she is housebroken. She does have anxiety when left alone. She will need a good igloo type crate. she prefers to hang out with people. She likes dogs and cats.
