Meet Sunny

Was found as a stray with a severe case of Conjunctivitis. He was hard to get at first but came around after a while. He was very sensitive to the touch around his face and neck due to the pain in his eyes. We got him on antibiotics. Gentle and quiet most of the time. Prefers the inside air conditioner. Used to roaming free for months. Dog friendly. Had surgery on both eyes for Entropion . Sunny loves the cold weather but prefers the cold air conditioned house in the summer. He does not like the rain! Great house dog. Very territorial outside in the yard when people come near. Typical Chow Chow behavior. Does not take to strange people petting him. Fussy about how he’s touched except for grooming. Loves to be brushed and groomed and bathes well. Sunny does his own thing and ignores commands. Does know sit and shake.
