Meet Summer
Meet Summer!
Summer is a happy girl, a typical puppy, curious and excited to see what life is all about. She does have some energy, so would be best suited for a home that is somewhat active, and understands puppies do best with some training. Summer is a pretty girl! Her eyes are unique, and if you ask her opinion, she would say she's stunning! She's a soccer girl wrapped up in a beauty queen package!
Basics: She is a female guessed to be around 4 months and she currently weighs close to 21lbs. She is currently at our boarding and daycare partner in Michigan City, IN
Adoption Process:
- Please fill out our adoption application: https://www.dayofthedogs.org/adoption-application
- One of our team members will get back to you via phone.
- Our dogs can be seen by appointment only. We do not have a facility at this time. Dogs are in foster homes or boarding
- Adoption fee helps to cover transport costs, spay/neuter, initial vaccines, rabies, fecal, initial worming, and microchip.
-We do not place holds on our dogs. Please do not contact us until you are prepared to adopt. NOTE: We are very good about updating the pet's profiles once adopted. So no need to write us to ask "Is he/she still available?" If the post is up, the dog is still available.
About Us: Day of the Dogs is a 501c3 nonprofit that is dedicated to helping shelters increase live release. We coordinate 2 - 4 transports per month from TX, OK and AR to NW Indiana/Chicagoland and the Kansas City area. We do direct adoptions ourselves out of Dyer, IN area and partner with 12 other rescues and shelters in both IL and IN that are willing to help southern pets in need.
