Suki is a smart and sweet girl. She is independent but also devoted to her people and will greet you with a happily wagging tail and a request for belly rubs. She has good recall off leash and loves nothing more than running about, sniffing and meeting other dogs. While she loves a good long walk, she is equally happy to spend most of the day relaxing at home. She is happy to spend time in her crate or can be left on her own in the house - she has no issues with separation anxiety, she doesn't chew up anything but her toys, and she is trained to get up on furniture only if invited.

Suki needs an experienced dog owner. She would do best in a home with another dog and a fenced yard where she can spend hours relaxing in the sunshine [this is not a requirement though]. Suki is cautious around new people until she decides that she loves them, and can be fearful around younger children that aren’t predictable. She needs an environment where she feels safe as well as a consistent approach to training. She walks well on leash but can have a fight or flight response that needs to be managed.

VETTING: Suki is spayed, microchipped and her vaccinations are up to date.

TRAINING: Suki is fully house trained and crate trained, and she is good in a vehicle. She knows commands such as: sit, down, stay, leave it, on your bed and shake a paw. She walks well on a short/waist leash.
