Sudie Mae

Breed: Chihuahua
Gender: Spayed female
DOB: 7-21-2020
Weight: approx. 6 pounds
Microchipped
Adoption Fee: $375

Sweet, gentle, bossy, sassy, and a good girl! Sudie Mae is happy to sit with her people and LOVES going for walks! She is rude to other dogs and will growl at them and rush them. However, this appears to be from lack of socialization, as she has started trying to play with one of the dogs in her foster home. She is failing miserably, but trying! There's hope in a home with rules that require dogs be polite and where patience is provided when she forgets herself!

Sudie came from a home with a baby and did not do well. She was her mama's baby first and did not like the rug rat at all and demonstrated this by peeing on the baby's belongings! She also growled at the baby, also a big no-no. Since she was not socialized to accept children when she was young, we will be seeking an adult home. Children will need to be over 12 years of age.

While Sudie Mae's previous family may have treated her like a baby, they also taught her to behave. She may have been pee pad trained, so she is a special invitation dog, which means you have to pick her up and take her out for potty or she will forget her manners! She's doing pretty well and is enjoying her fenced yard!

Sudie is fearless on the leash and will go pretty much anywhere you go! She enjoys hikes in the woods as well as walks in the neighborhood and on Greenways. She's a tough little girl! She is learning quickly not to be as vocal about what she sees on her walks, which makes walks much more enjoyable for her handler, as well as people and dogs walking by!
