Meet Stryker
Stryker
9yr old Mastiff/Lab mix
Stryker came to us in early December 2021 from a local animal shelter. His owner chose not to bring him home, so he was welcomed into our care and moved in with his foster family to begin his new chapter. Despite his rocky start in life, this brave, gentle soul has shown us there are no limits to his resiliency and his will to live his life to the fullest. Stryker is now a healthy, strong, happy boy who is ready to find a loving family of his very own.
Stryker has a stunning personality and can't wait to share it with his new family. Over the past several months, his coat has become thick and soft and after gaining almost 12 pounds, he has reached his ideal weight. His tail is consistently wagging and his magnetic eyes will tell you that his loyalty is absolute.
Stryker loves attention, playing fetch (and is really good at it!), and treasures his toys. He is well trained and enjoys long walks and hikes. He has an amazing energy and can keep up with dogs who are half his age.
He is content to bounce around the backyard in a game of fetch or just lay by your feet while you quietly read your favourite book. He is fostered with a small dog and has been around cats without issue.
This amazing boy needs and deserves your love and gives back more than you could ever give to him. Please help him to enjoy the very best of the wonderful years that he has ahead of him in the next chapter of his life.
Stryker was heartworm positive and has received treatment while in foster care. He has one more vet appointment in September that will complete his treatment.
Stryker has been vaccinated, neutered, dewormed, and is microchipped. His adoption fee is $600.
