Stormy Black Labrador Retriever Wahpeton, ND

Stormy was born 8-1-2015 and was brought to our shelter on 6-28-23 because of her age and high energy. She's a large, 50-60 pound dog.

Stormy's favorite thing to do is play fetch. She loves to be cuddled and receive affection on her own terms.

She's fully potty trained.

Stormy has a bite on record with another dog at the vet. Her boundary signals are subtle so this could have been a preventable situation with the right handler. She does very well with other dogs on pack walks, but doesn't always like to play with them. She may do well with a submissive male dog. She doesn't appear to be a fan of cats. Stormy would do well with kids old enough to respect her boundaries. Young children would not be suitable with her.

She's currently eating Blue Buffalo brand dry dog food.

Stormy is up-to-date on her vaccinations, spayed, up-to-date on her flea and tick preventative, tested negative for heartworm, is up-to-date on her heartworm preventative, has been dewormed, and is microchipped.

Stormy's adoption fee has been fully sponsored! She's now just waiting on her forever home to find her!
