Hi there, potential forever family! My name is Stoney, and I'm here to tell you all about myself. My foster family says I'm one of the best boys around, and I'm ready to show you just how wonderful I am! I am loving, affectionate, and connected. IN shI'm a certified Good Boy. I'm a curious and intelligent pup, always eager to learn and explore. You'll often find me being goofy and well-mannered, making every day a joy-filled adventure.

My likes: PUP CUPS!!! I absolutely love being around people, doing whatever they're doing. Whether it's going for walks, enjoying the fresh air, or quietly sharing some quality time, count me in! I dream of finding a family who can spend most of their days with me. I think I'd make a great office dog or a wonderful companion for someone who can be home with me. I love to play with toys! My dislikes: I'm still learning to like my kennel, but it makes me a bit anxious right now. I prefer being with people, especially if I'm in a closed-off space. I need a family who's patient and willing to work with me to help me feel safe and build confidence, even if it takes me some time. Family Preferences: I want to be your best friend! I have been getting to experience kindness since entering the shelter and that is something kind of new to me. Will you help to show me what family means? Sometimes I get startled at loud or unexpected noises, and I can get scared when I am alone, but if you stick by my side I know I can get through anything! I'd thrive with a family experienced with my breed. A fenced-in yard (over 5 feet and no chain link, please) is a must. I've been caught doing pull-ups over one of my baby gates. While I haven't met children yet, I'm gentle but might be best with older kids. I get excited sometimes and jump like a spring! I am not really a mouthy guy, and I can be corrected (with a simple “no”/redirected) easily if I get too excited. I'm interested in meeting other pets, but slow introductions are key to making the best impression. Special Qualities: I give the best nuzzles and hugs. I will always be excited to see you and ready for our next adventure. I'm a cuddly boy who loves relaxing, taking naps, and being a self-proclaimed lap dog. I wiggle around a lot to find the comfiest spot. I also love to zoom! I run around and sometimes chase my tail. I can spin really fast if I try! I'm very tolerant and okay with having my feet, toes, ears, eyes, and mouth handled (including my teeth brushed). I have gotten a few baths so far and I have liked them just fine. Interactions: I'm calm and interested in meeting other dogs, and curious about cats. I think I would do well with cats given proper introductions. I've had positive experiences with new female human friends, and my foster parents. I think I could make a lot of friends with slow introductions. Leash walks are a work in progress, but I'm eager to learn without pulling. I check in with my human if they stop walking and know to slow down.
